An update to an old problem (1/x + 1/y = 1/7)
The problem required finding solutions to: 1/x + 1/y = 1/7
You say there are no integer solutions except x=y=14, but 1/8 + 1/56 = 1/7.
The logic in your answer is impeccable up to '... but we can't have a=49 and b=1' (in 1/(7+a) + 1/(7+b) = 1/7). But this *is* the answer as you see above.
