"Bachet's Magic Trick"

I played this game 7-10 times and picked 9 and 19 as my numbers every time and it did not get my numbers right any of the times! What is up?

You may have noticed that the numbers do come in pairs. Unless 9 and 19 come in a pair you can't select them both, for you are asked to select a pair.

You may want to read the explanation from which I believe it is clear that the eligible pairs are set up front.
