"Maths Can Be Fun"

It's refreshing to see a site with content that's both interesting and stimulating. I graduated from Glasgow University 20 years ago and to be honest the last year was difficult and tiresome. The simple reason was that I lost my interest in mathematics. The subject I once loved as a kid gave me more of a headache than a buzz in later years. Too much emphasis was spent on learning proofs without an understanding of their root or application. Not everybody wants to know if there are an infinite number of twin primes.

If you can encourage an interest in such an important and fundamental subject as mathematics, you will enrich peoples lives and offer them more than any college or university lecturer.

Good Luck
