Although it isn't specifically about maths, I thought I would let everyone know about the following site which provides some useful information for the parents of gifted children. I figure that people who visit a maths site (for interest sake and not just to find homework answers) have a good chance of either having gifted children or are/were themselves gifted. The lady who set it up used to be the gifted children's coordinator of Australian Mensa, and I have found her site quite helpful. The address is helendowland.terminus.net.au
and the links down the left hand side of the home page are particularly good.
Another site of interest is mensa.org.au.
Although both these sit's are Australian, I feel they will be helpful to parents in any country which has an education system like ours.
If these have already been listed somewhere on this huge maths forum, which I admit I haven't read all of, sorry.
