"5 circles on 5x5 lattice, on nxn"

There is a problem asking to find 5 circles going through all points of a 5x5 lattice.
A solution can be found in
- Ross Honsberger, Mathematical Delights, p.155, 208, 223

What about 6x6, 7x7, nxn ?
What is the Minimum # circles going through all points of a nxn lattice ?
I would like any reference or result on that problem.

I have solutions for 6 on 6x6, 9 on 7x7.
Are those optimal ?

(I try to include drawings but they would not attach !?)

I just got the book. An excellent problem, this one. You should not have a problem attaching a graphics file if it's not too big. I do not remember the exact limit. The problem may be that unless you do something the file is stored as having millions of colors, even though in all likelihood you use just 2.
