"Adding time on a calculator"

Once upon a time, a long time ago, my dad showed me an easy way to add several times (ie... 3 minutes 42 seconds plus 4 minutes 38 seconds) using a calculator. But for the life of me, I cannot remember the "trick"! This is very handy if setting up a tape or CD for music. Thank you.

David
