"Geometry"

Is it true, that how to multiply and divide a line by a line is not known? I was thinking that a geometry should be required to perform the basic math functions.

I have my own figure for multiplying and dividing a line by line. It has nothing to do with parallel lines. It handles exponents as well. I need to know, if it has been done, where is it posted. j.c.

It's a question of whether it's good for anything or not. No doubt there are lots of ways to define such a thing, but you need to show that it helps or is interesting in some way. Why not post what you have and let us take a look at it?
