"ENGLISH TO SPANISH"

I lived in Costa Rica 5 years were I studied math in English all the time because we had an American system. When I came back to Guatemala, they were all studying math in spanish and I really dont understand a thing. What can I do?
Thank you very much

From personal experience, I would suggest skipviewing a math book in Spanish about something you already know. I used to study math and physics from Russian books all the time - they were cheap because of the large quantities printed, the choice was much better than in my native language, and new books (originals or translations) kept coming. Sometimes it was hard, for example, determinant in English (as well as in my native language) is a totally different word - opredelitel - in Russian.

Normally, the problem is presented in reverse, it is not logical that the case you present could occur. Nevertheless, bilingual dictionaries exist on any mathematical subject.

No creas.
