When the owner of the cabins got back to his office, he realized that he overcharged them. (It'should only be 25.00)

So, he gave his assistant 5.00 and told him to go and give it back to the men.

Since he did not have change for the 5.00, he gave each man back 1.00 and pocketed 2.00

So, The men 1rst spent 10.00
Less the 1.00
Equals 9.00

9.00 X 3 men = 27.00
man pocketed 2.00 = 29.00

Where is the other 1.00 ????????????????

You should have said this:

9.00 X 3 men = 27.00
minus the pocketed 2.00 = 25.00

This is exactly what the owner of the cabin got.

This is an enlightened slight of hand to add
a quantity instead of subtracting it.

So do not be superficial - take knowledge seriously.
