Balanced Incomplete Block Design on a Triangular Grid
For any two points on a triangular grid there are two equilateral triangles with vertices at the two points. The third vertices define a quasigroup operation on the grid. Factoring by subquasigroups leads to balanced incomplete block design:
(The size of the visible grid can be changed by clicking on the numbers in the lower right corner of the applet area.)
