How can that be? Aren't the red and blue lines actually oblique diameters, with the vertical diameter along "y" being the conjugate diameter, and the horizontal along "x", the transverse? Are there two different meanings of "conjugate diameter?

I rechecked the references on my page. Looks to me that I followed their treatment to the letter. If there is difference with another book's terminology, it won't be the first time in the history of mathematics.
