"Schwarz Lantern"

Does someone know of an applet that displays the Schwarz lantern (or pineapple) and computes the surface area, let's say with sliders for a range of values of m,n (even better if it's possible to zoom it and see it can be much rougher than it looks from far away) and for kids to play with controls and see the sum of triangles e.g. converge to cylinder area, or go to infinity? Ideally of course there would be sliders and also it would be possible to explicitly give m(n). I am surprised that I can not find, may be the English-speakers use another word to describe this beautiful counterexample?

Thank you a lot!

Daniela
