"frieze patterns"

Has the table atop the Frieze Patterns page been checked? Surely the final two rows of the table, F6 & F7, are incorrect.

Or else, please explain how 'LV LV LV' exhibits either of the symmetries tabled. Likewise for 'GL GL GL'.

I believe the table itself is correct i.e. the x are correctly placed, but the examples given are misleading.

If you look into the html code you'll see that, say, 'LV' is actually
<font face="symbol">L</font>V

which had to be interpreted as 'LambdaV'. I am hard pressed to explain why on your machine the symbol font is missing or why your browser fails to interpret the standard html code correctly.

I am truly discouraged by such a lack of compatibility.
