Triangle Geometry

There are many remarkable points, lines and circles in the simplest of all polygonal shapes - the triangle. You may investigate some of them by clicking on the button below.

The applet is made to display various elements of triangle geometry relative to a reference triangle or several of its derivatives, e.g, the anticomplementary or the medial triangles. Some elements play a double role and appear under different names in different triangles.

This applet requires Sun's Java VM 2 which your browser may perceive as a popup. Which it is not. If you want to see the applet work, visit Sun's website at https://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp, download and install Java VM and enjoy the applet.
