Subject: Statistics
Date: Fri, 22 Nov 1996 16:20:20 -0500
From: Erano Huebia

It's been a while since I've dabbled in statistics and this is probably really easy but can anyone tell me what is the formula to this problem:

There are 'x' number of reps in a certain territory. The random generator displays only 5 reps at a time. What is the probability that rep 'A' will show up at least once?

A quick reply would be appreciated.

thank you!
