Dear Alexander,
As a child I have heard that the name Hanoi Tower comes from the fact that there is a place in hanoi where monks do play the game with 64 disks, believing that when it is ended the end of the world would come. To my horor, I've read in your home page that the game was invented by a French mathematician.
Was I leaving in a dream? a fantasy? Can you suggest me a place to read about it?
