"what does"
 
   I had one posting, "convergence", in the forum "This and That", and I can see that there have been 5 replies and 16 views. What does "views" mean, please?

The forum is a commercial software. I have no idea how to fix it. Can you fix a browser? In some pages that display formulas inset in text, the alignment is awful and depends on the size of your browser window. One has to live with that.

Well, I met mathematicians with fewer than two legs. One of my professors was blind. (Not to mention my own imperfections.)

Mathematicians investigate the world and try to explain it with the knowledge that it may not be perfect. They aspire only to perfect the explanation.

   I would like to note that I meant no offense.
On the contrary, this site is great, and I do appreciate the opportunity it gave me to ask a question and receive an answer, and, in general, to learn more about mathematics. Mathematics is the only thing that is common in everything that is science or rational thinking, and this site is very valuable because I am sure it makes people who are interested in mathematics become even more interested.
As this site is available to those who speak English and have an internet access out of the 6.5 billion (not with mathematical accuracy) of us, I just wonder why there are not more postings to the forums on these pages, as there are not many similar sit's!
