"Lebanon Israel conflict"

What do you think about current event in the Near East?
How long will this conflict be lasting? Are you for or against Israel's position?

I think that was is happening now is a repetition of what has been happening in the region since the creation of the state, or at least 1967.

Hizbolla has violated Israel's border, kidnapped 2 solders, killed 8. Now, it insists on fighting the occupation until the sovereign Lebanese soil is freed from occupation. Then, as now, Israel was dragged into a war it did not want and, lo and behold, it became an occupying power at the end of seven days. And surely it is natural to fight an occupying power. Everyone's birthright is to kill and maim Israelis.

By the number of Katyushas felled on Israel, Hizbolla was assiduously preparing for such a glorious event for more than 6 years. Still, Israel is again the occupier.

The root of the problem is not Israeli occupation, but Israeli existence. The Iranian president is dead serious. But he only says openly, what other muslims were brainwashed to think from the craddle.

Now thats what I call the definition of (AB: removed bad mouthing).

Israel ROUTINELY carries out operations in Lebanon kidnapping citizens and anyone they think should be kidnapped and jailed. When Hezbollah kidnapped two soldiers it was nothing new - except to the brain dead western media.

Killing of innocent civilians is okay as long as it is done by Israelis. If done by Arabs, it is terrorism.

Israel can even kill UN officials and it is okay. Collective punishment is against Geneva conventions, but in Israel's case it does not apply. We expect the Islamic world to crack down on their extremists while we encourage ours. Bravo.

And incase your twisted mind does not understand Hezbollah check them out here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hezbollah

40% of the entire Lebanese population identifies itself with the Hezbollah. But in Israeli minds its an itsy bitsy "terrorist" group. Congratulations - they don't even know what they're fighting with - a social organization that provides, schools, hospitals and medicare to its population.

Just in case, the East is "Middle" in this case, not "Near".
