I think that a reverse mode where you start with only one checker at the specified rank would be very useful. You would then jump over empty spaces%2C creating new checkers along the way%2C with the goal to get all of your checkers behind the starting line. This seems like it would help solidify the impossibility of completing level 5 when you could not get all of your checkers back to the starting zone even working in the opposite direction.
