Then it says that an even simpler example involves a square with sides of 5 units. But the diagonal of such a square is 5 times the square root of 2. That%27s not an illustration of  the square root of 5%2C is it%3F %0D%0A%0D%0AMany thanks for this wonderful site. It%27s enormously stimulating.
