Once protection has been activated%2C the whole site becomes unavailable.%0D%0A%0D%0AThere are two reasons I put this trick in%3A%0D%0A%0D%0A%5Bol%5D%0D%0A%5Bli%5DCommonly%2C bulk download transfers much more than a specific user is interested in%3B%0D%0A%5Bli%5DBecause of cross-referencing%2C the software also transfers the files repeatedly%2C%0D%0A%5B%2Fol%5D%0D%0A%0D%0ABoth of which cause an enormous load on the allowed bandwidth. Already once the site has been expelled by its hosts%3B I try to avoid a repeat of this bothersome situation where I had to transfer the site to a different server without incurring unsustainable expenses.%0D%0A%0D%0AGive me your IP and I%27ll see to it that you have your normal access back.
