Hello:
Looked into your derivation and here's a suggestion I can make. From the start, it's hard to solve transcendental equations. Do not use sin(). Instead express Rc2 = Rs2 - (h - Rs)2 from the Pythagorean theorem. You will have roots; but equation solving will be by far more manageable.
