I AM DOING SOME LIGHT RESEARCH FOR A GRADUATE COURSE IN EDUCATION/SECONDARY MATH CURRICULUM. ONE QUESTION THE PROFESSOR HAS ASKED IS "WHAT IS THE GAME OF NIM, AND HOW IS IT PLAYED?" I HAVE FOUND A COUPLE REFERENCES TO THE GAME: ONE RELATES IT TO THE GAME OF PICK-UP STICKS; ONE CALLS IT AN "ORIENTED-GRAPH" GAME; THEN THERE IS THE MENTION OF IT ON YOUR PAGE. IS THERE ONE GAME OF NIM, OR OTHERS? CAN YOU GIVE ME A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF HOW NIM IS PLAYED, WHICHEVER RENDITIONS OF A GAME BY THAT NAME THAT YOU KNOW OF?
