Subject: Human Calculators, an Encore
Date: Thu, 22 Jan 1998 16:14:51 -0600
From: Clay Britton

My question concerns the ability to learn some math "secrets" that will allow you to do mathmatical calculations of all types in your head.

I have seen and heard about "human calculators" and am very interested in finding out if this stuff is true.

I am very weak in basic math and would love something like this that would allow me to break my dependance of a calculator.

My question: Is this stuff a scam?

If it isn't why don't all mathmaticians do it?

Also, why hasn't somebody learned it, and then
taught it without trying to become a millionare?

I would appreciate your response.
