I am not sure what you mean. For example, "double optimization" could be optimiztion in two variables or simultaneous optimiztion of two functions.
The latter is impossible unless one of the two:
- The functions have extremes at the same point, or
- You devise and accept a compromise strategy of combining the two functions into one. For example, by agreeing to optimize their average. The latter can be done of course.
