A 9's Fan's Clock

I do not claim a copyright on the picture below. One day it arrived unsolicited in my email inbox and stayed there for a long while until rediscovered on occasion of my being overwhelmed with an email clearing zeal. The idea is not mine, by any means - of which I am envious. On the other hand, I thought it would be unfortunate, for a chef d'oeuvre like that to end up in a trash can of my computer. The 1 - 12 are calculated each with three 9s (in a not unique way) as
