Nick Pyati got good grades in high school and at Columbia University. He'll start Yale Law School in 2007, and he hopes to run for national office someday. But as a first-year teacher at a low-income high school in the Bronx, Pyati feels inadequate. "I was expecting it to be very hard, but it's harder than I thought it would be, and in a way I've never experienced before," Pyati says.
